Source: a manuscript found in the Biblioteca del Conservatorio di Musica “Nicolo Paganini” in Genoa, Italy with the signature “M-23”. This manuscript consists of two individual instrumental parts without score. Haynes reports that the work was published in Paris by Beraudt, later Durieu, 1776-1785, thus making a date of composition around 1780 probable.
